Six killed in Balochistan in separate incidents
QUETTA: Six people, including a woman, were killed and four injured in firing and traffic incidents across Balochistan on Sunday, according to officials.
In Panjgur, attackers killed a barber who had been running his shop in the area for the last many years.
The assailants, riding a motorcycle, opened fire at the victim in the Chatikan Chowk area. The man died on the spot after receiving multiple bullet injuries.
Police described the incident as target killing and started an investigation. No one has claimed responsibility.
In another shooting, a man was killed and another injured in the border town of Chaman. Police said armed men riding motorbikes opened fire on two persons at Bograh Road.
One of them died on the spot.
In Quetta, a man was found shot dead in the Airport Road area, police said.
Accidents
In an accident, two persons were killed and two injured in a head-on collision between a car and truck at the Quetta-Qila Saifullah road near Muslim Bagh area.
In Panjgur, a woman was killed in a road accident while her minor child was injured.
