LAHORE: Robbers took away cash and gold ornaments worth over Rs8m during a house robbery at Kahna on Friday.

Four armed suspects barged into the residence of Dr Tahir, held him and his family hostage at gunpoint. The suspects searched the rooms and cupboards and collected cash and gold jewelry. They locked the family in a room of the house and escaped.

Police registered a case.
