HYDERABAD: Nadra signs accord with Hesco
HYDERABAD, April 27: The National Database and Registration Authority (Nadra) on Wednesday signed an agreement with the Hyderabad Electric Supply Company (Hesco) to set up “Nadra kiosk” for payment of bills in Sindh.
Nadra Director of Operations Col (retd) Khalid Hameed Shah and Hesco Chief Executive Maqbool Ahmed Khawja signed the agreement at a ceremony held here on Wednesday.
The chief executive of Hesco said that it would facilitate power consumers and after the Islamabad Electric Supply Company (Iesco), Hesco was second power distribution company of Wapda to sign such agreement with the Nadra for payment of bills through machines.
He said that machines would be installed in the province for benefit of power consumers and termed it a historic occasion for 1.2 million Hesco consumers across Sindh.
Giving details of the project, the Nadra director of operations pointed out that Nadra kiosks are being installed under directives of Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz to enable consumers pay their bills through machines round the clock. He said that the agreement with other power distribution companies is underway.
