THATTA: An activist of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Sujawal chapter died near Makli bypass when his car collided head-on with a speeding coach on Wednesday.

A resident of Darro Town in Sujawal district, Ghayas had previously been associated with the Sindh Taraqqi-pasand Party and had served as its Thatta district president.

As soon as the news of the accident spread, a large number of PPP and nationalist workers, besides other people, reached the hospital. They were shocked to know about his death.

The Makli police impounded the coach and arrested its driver.
