KARACHI: Syed Javed Iqbal, brother of White Star photojournalist attached to Dawn Tahir Jamal, was killed in a traffic accident in North Karachi, his family and police said on Monday.

They said that Mr Iqbal, 63, along with his daughter, was heading towards a tuition centre on a motorbike when another motorcyclist hit them in Kalyana Town on Sunday. While his daughter remained unhurt, he suffered critical injuries and was taken to a private hospital where he died during treatment.
