More PTI workers released

SWABI: Eight Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf workers, who were arrested in a crackdown at Islamabad’s D Chowk on Nov 26, reached here after their release from the Attock jail on Friday.

The number of workers having been released over the last three days has reached 22, party’s local leaders said.

Special assistant to chief minister on industries Abdul Karim Tordher said they were the brave people, who protested peacefully at the D Chowk for their democratic right on Nov 26, and rendered sacrifices to ‘break the chains of oppression’.
