ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s veteran tennis player Aqeel Khan and Ushna Suhail clinched the men’s and women’s singles titles, respectively at the Serena Hotel Masters Cup, which concluded here at the PTF complex on Thursday.

In the men’s singles final, Aqeel defeated Barka­tullah 6-3, 6-2 while Ushna secured the women’s title with a 6-4, 4-0 (retired) victory over Sheeza Sajid.

Due to inclement weather, the men’s doubles final was abandoned with the score tied at 3-3, and the teams of Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi and Aqeel and Shahzad Khan and M. Abid were declared joint winners.
