SUKKUR: New municipal taxes opposed

SUKKUR, May 11: The Sukkur Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) urged the government on Wednesday to turn down taluka municipal council’s proposals for new taxes at municipal level for the financial year 2006-2007.

Therefore, there was no justification for levying any new taxes, they said.
