HYDERABAD: Students advised to wear uniforms
HYDERABAD, May 14: The registrar of the Liaquat University of Medical and Health Sciences Jamshoro has advised students to wear uniform (apron) with identity card clasped to it else they will not be allowed to enter the campus.
A handout issued by the university here on Sunday said that under the directives of Sindh governor, no one other than the university student who had officially been allotted a room would be allowed to stay in hostels.
Police or administration will thoroughly check the students at gates of hostels before allowing them to enter, he said.
He said that students who had less than 75 per cent attendance would not be allowed to take examination.
The registrar directed all university employees to be regular and punctual and keep their identity cards visibly clasped to their apparels.
Strict measures will be taken to stop the entry of outsiders and miscreants into the university and nobody would be allowed to carry even licensed weapons in the campus.
He stressed that strict disciplinary action would be taken against miscreant students or irregular and unpunctual employees and complete code of conduct would be observed.
NAZIM: District Nazim Kanwar Naveed Jamil has said that education through art and drawing is very helpful in bringing out the best potential talent in pupils at an early age.
The nazim said after inaugurating an “art and drawing carnival” organized by a local school at Tilak Incline on Saturday that the creative activity could turn an otherwise bland process into something interesting.
He said that the practice had so far been confined to private schools only but the district had now planned to open a pre-nursery section in government schools.
He stressed the need for exchange of academic knowledge and experience between private and public schools.
