HYDERABAD: Construction of district govt office begins

HYDERABAD, May 16: District Nazim Kanwar Naveed Jamil on Tuesday laid the foundation stone of the district complex to be built at a cost of Rs60 million. He said that the deputy commissioner house would be converted into a museum.

He said that Rs5 million was earmarked for the project which would be constructed on 12,000 sq.ft. out of five to six acres area of the old DC house.

He said that the project would not be commercial and offices of the district government, district nazim and the DCO would be set up in the building.

He said that it was an ideal place for the district complex because offices of high, civil and session courts and the DPO were located in the vicinity and people would be greatly facilitated.

He said that park and parking space would be made available in the building.
