HYDERABAD: Nazim urges more schemes for Qasimabad
HYDERABAD, May 26: District Nazim Kanwar Naveed Jamil has said that during the six months of the present district government, development schemes to the tune of Rs300 million have been launched in Qasimabad taluka.
He said that during the current month, a water pipeline would be laid from the old filter plant to Sehrish Nagar at a cost of Rs70 million.
He said the foundation stone of a new hospital would also be laid in Sehrish Nagar, Qasimabad, within the next few days.
He was speaking at the foundation stone laying ceremony of a sewerage pumping station in Sheedi Goth on Wednesday.
He said that it was his commitment to bring deprived areas of Qasimabad at par with other developed areas of Hyderabad.
EDO works Abdul Haleem Ghori, HDA DG Tahir Ahmed Wasa MD Kafeel Ahmed UC-I nazim Pervez Ranjha, naib nazim Abdul Karim Ghanghar and others were present on the occasion.—Bureau
