US Consul General Marry Witt who was chief guest at the show said that the event would help forge trade and business relations between US companies and the city’s business community.

She stressed the need for strengthening trade relations between US companies and Hyderabad traders and noted that the city’s textile sector needed more investment through joint collaboration.

She assured that the service would perform the role of coordinator between the US companies and the city’s traders. Its services also included visa facilities, she added.

Chinese goods were cheap, but the US products were durable because the United States possessed the latest technology, she remarked.
