SUKKUR, Aug 26: Three persons were killed in an armed clash between two groups in the Shikarpur district on Saturday morning. Reports reaching here attributed the clash to an old enmity. The firing was continue with intervals till the filing of this report.

The dead were identified as Noor Hassan Kambrani, Mehboob Kambrani while the name of the third victim could not be ascertained.

AXED TO DEATH: Two persons were axed to death in village Piyaro Gabole, near Mirpur Mathelo, late on Friday night.

Reports reaching here said that Sawali Gabole and Ahmed Ali Gabole were on their way to village when accused attacked them with hatchets and fled leaving them dead.

Police shifted the bodies to a local hospital.
