Indians, SL players to compete in Srs Tennis

KARACHI, Sept 11: Fifteen Indians and a Sri Lankan have confirmed their participation in the Pakistan International Seniors Tennis Championship which commences at the Karachi Club from Sept 14, organisers announced on Monday.

The competition which is being held under the aegis of Pakistan Seniors Tennis Association is the second to be held in the country this year after the first that took place at Lahore in April.

The events that will take place include men’s singles 35 plus, 40 plus, 45 plus, 55 plus, men’s doubles 35 plus, 45 plus, 55 plus, women’s singles and doubles 35 plus.

Plans are also under way to organise a one-day Pakistan-India goodwill series.
