NAWABSHAH: One killed, four injured in Nawabshah clash

NAWABSHAH, Sept 12: A man was killed and four others were injured in a clash between two groups in Ali Ahmed Zardari village near 60-miles on Tuesday.

The deceased was identified as Qadir Bux, 35,.

The injured — Karim Bux, Sathi, Nazar Ali and Jan Mohammad Kandhani — were admitted to the People’s Medical College Hospital Nawabshah.

Ghulam Qadir, brother of the deceased, lodged an FIR at the 60-miles police against Jan Mohammad, Soonu, Wakeel, Ghunnu, Karim Bux and Dhani Bux.

Police have arrested two persons.

The reason for the clash is said to be a matrimonial dispute.

INSPECTION TEAM: The Sindh governor’s inspection team visited the Quaid-i-Awam University of Engineering, Science and Technology on Tuesday.

The team headed by Major Aftab Ahmed Lodhi and Naseeruddin Abbasi inspected different places where development work was being carried out.

Delegations of officers, teachers and employees’ associations also met with the team and presented their grievances.
