MARDAN: Sisters demand share in family assets

MARDAN, Nov 20: Four sisters of the Bilanday area in Mardan have accused their relatives of having forcibly occupied their family assets, including 500 acres of agriculture land, Rs80 million cash and residential buildings in the area, and not giving them their share.

They appealed to the president for justice.

Three months ago, they alleged, their brother Shahinshah Bacha was killed in the main bazaar of the Katlang town by their step-nephew Shahjehan Bacha with the help of Sawaldher Union Council naib nazim Nadeem and Jafar Khan to take possession of the assets.

However, they regretted, the accused were not nominated in the case.

They accused local police of supporting the accused.
