IMF team leaves

ISLAMABAD, Feb 16: The IMF (international monetary fund) mission has completed the review of economic performance of Pakistan under the PRGF (poverty reduction and growth facility) programme.

Officials told NNI the IMF mission left the country on Friday after completing the review. It would submit its report to the IMF board probably by the end of March, leading to the release of the second tranche under the PRGF.—NNI
