NAWABSHAH: 2 planes make emergency landing

NAWABSHAH, Dec 31: Two Karachi-bound flights had to make emergency landing at Nawabshah airport on Sunday. A Karachi-bound PIA flight PK-732 from Jeddah via Islamabad, with 432 passengers on board, landed here due to fog and inclement weather in Karachi.

A Karachi-bound private flight from Islamabad also had to make an emergency landing due to unfavourable weather in Karachi. The two flights left after for their destinations after three hours stay.

TWO KILLED: Two people including a child were killed and four others injured in different accidents in the district on Sunday. The boy Kishan died when a speedy bus hit him on Jam Saheb road.

In another incident, one Makhan Bhutto, was killed and four others got injured as a rickshaw collided with a motorcycle at Begna Mori.
