HYDERABAD, Jan 4: A large number of residents of Gharib Nawaz Colony and Mohsinabad, including women and children, held a demonstration outside the press club here on Thursday to protest against a builder for issuing ejection notices to them.

Talking to journalists, Mehmood Ali, Maulana Yaqoob, Shamsuddin and other residents of the area said that they were living in two colonies for the last 25 years and had legal documents.

However, they said, a builder, Nadir Hassan, had issued them ejection notices by claiming the ownership of the land.

They appealed to the authorities to intervene and come to their rescue.
