NAWABSHAH: Loadshedding continues in Nawabshah

NAWABSHAH, Jan 17: Unannounced power loadshedding is being carried out throughout the district for the last 15 days.

Electricity supply in the city remained suspended for two hours in the morning and one hour in the evening on Wednesday due to which people of various areas, including Manuabad, Essarpura, Gharibabad and Mohini Bazaar, faced hardships.

Business activities were also badly affected due to power supply failures. Haji Aslam Shaikh, president, Zargaran Association, told journalists that electricity supply failure was adversely affecting their business.

When contacted, Hesco official Abdul Majeed Ansari confirmed that loadshedding was being carried out on the instruction of the power control department of Hesco.
