The three, Ihsan alias Nomi Thebo, Roshan and Kaleemullah Thebo had obtained bail before arrest from the Hyderabad circuit bench of the Sindh High Court before they appeared in the Mehar police station, said In-charge (investigation) Inspector Ghulam Sarwar Panhwar.

Meanwhile, the chairperson of Human Rights Commission of Pakistan Asma Jahangir Saturday phoned the 13-year-old schoolgirl Ms Soomro and assured her that she would take up the case with concerned authorities to ensure she got justice. “I stand by you for justice,” she told the rape victim. Ms Soomro who along with her parents, sisters and activists of different political organisations continued token hunger strike outside the local press club on the ninth consecutive day appealed to politicians, social activists, lawyers, writers and intellectuals to support her.
She warned that she and her family would keep fast unto death if all the culprits were not arrested within two days.
Soorath Thebo, president of Pakistan Muslim League-N Sindh women’s wing, also talked to Ms Soomro at the huger camp and assured her of support. PML-N would stage a demonstration and a sit-in outside the Sindh Governor House to press for the arrest of rapists, she said.
