Pakistan 63rd in gender equality

LAHORE, March 6: The Washington-based Property Rights Alliance has placed Pakistan at 59th position among 70 countries of the world with reference to protection of property rights and 63rd position in gender equality.

According to the report of the alliance released by the Alternate Solutions Institute Pakistan, Norway had been found the best country with respect to protection of property rights and Bangladesh the lowest. Pakistan had been ranked with Kenya, Guatemala and Ecuador with reference to property rights and no better than Ethiopia and Kenya regarding gender equality in property rights.
