Rawalpindi Express fares cut till May 10
LAHORE, May 5: Pakistan Railways authorities have decreased the fares of delux air conditioned parlour of the new non-stop Rawalpindi Express (111-Up/112-Down) till May 10.
The step was ordered by Railway Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmad.
According to a PR press release issued here on Saturday, the fares have been revised downwards from Rs400 to Rs350 for adults and Rs175 to Rs200 for children.
After May 10 the normal fares would be charged, the press release said.
The train has been running on the Rawalpindi-Lahore section since May 3.—APP
