NAWABSHAH: Old feud claims couple’s lives

NAWABSHAH, May 12: A man and his wife fell victim to an old dispute over ownership of a plot of land in the Jatto Magsi village near Sakrand on Saturday.

Reports reaching here said that armed relatives shot dead Misri Khan, 40, and his wife Fatima, 29, and escaped.

Mir Mohammad, son of the late couple, lodged an FIR under section 302 QSS, 34 and 504 PPC against Bakhshan, Ahmed Ali, Khamiso and Sachal at Sakrand police station accusing them of the murder of his parents. No arrest had been made till the filing of this report.

ACCIDENT: A truck driver was killed and his leaner was seriously injured when a speeding truck rammed into a trawler parked on the National Highway near Saeedabad on Saturday.

Driver Ishaque Brohi, 50, died on the spot while his cleaner Rehmat Khan suffered serious injuries. He was moved to Nawabshah Medical College Hospital. The driver’s body was sent to his native area after post-mortem.
