Two killed in Hub blast

Quetta, May 22: Two people were killed and three others injured when a powerful bomb went off in the industrial area of Hub on Tuesday night.

According to police, the bomb was planted at a bus stop close to a bridge on the RCD highway in the industrial town which went off at around 11pm.

Soon after the blast, police and officials rushed to the site and shifted the injured to the Hub Civil Hospital.

Police said two critically injured, Ghulam Nabi Magsi and Mohammad Ibrahim Mengal, succumbed to injuries in the hospital.

Hub ASP Faizullah Korejo said it was a homemade explosive.
