KOHAT, June 12: Three people were kidnapped for ransom in Orakzai Agency, in Shahu area near Kohat-Hangu border late on Monday night.

The victims were strolling near their homes at around 9.45pm when some unidentified gunmen bundled them into a white car, number AC-669, and drove away.

The area people tried to chase them. They could only find an abandoned vehicle near a check post between Orakzai Agency and Hangu.

The Raisan police have registered a case and initiated investigations.
