SWABI: Pakhtuns asked to unite

SWABI, June 16: Awami National Party president Asfandyar Wali Khan has called upon the Pakhtun to shun their differences and unite against the forces out to harm them.

He was talking to party activists during his visit to Ismalia, Dohbian, Nazar Banda, Daoolat village, Ayub Banda, Sard Cheena, Rokhanay, Bazarghay and Yaquabi on Saturday.

ANP provincial president Afrasiab Khattak, general secretary Mian Iftikhar Hussian, joint secretary Haidar Khan Hoti, District president Haji Rehmanullah, MPAs Mukhtiar Khan and Ameer Rehman were present on the occasion. Briefing journalists about Mr Khan’s visit, a party spokesman said the leaders went from village to village and shared their views with the workers.—Correspondent
