HYDERABAD: Lumhs to rusticate problem boys

HYDERABAD, July 21: The syndicate of the Liaquat University of Medical and Health Sciences on Saturday decided to rusticate the student who was found disrupting peace at the campus.

The vice-chancellor of the LUMHS, Prof Noshad Ahmed Shaikh presided over the meeting.

MUET: The vice-chancellor of the Mehran University of Engineering and Technology on Saturday reconstituted the discipline committee for a period of two years.

He appointed Prof Mohammad Soomar Khatri as chairman while Prof Abdul Qadir Chang, Prof Dr Mohammad Aslam Uqaili, Prof Nadir Ali Khwaja and Attaur Rehman Memon would be its members.

STB: The Sindh Textbook Board Jamshoro on Saturday started the process of distributing books free of charge among students in accordance with its schedule, said a board spokesman.
