HYDERABAD: MPA asked to devote time to his constituency

HYDERABAD, July 27: The leaders of the Pakistan Muslim League union council Tando Fazal (PS-53), Hyderabad taluka (rural), have complained that Mir Ali Nawaz Talpur, who was elected as an MPA in 2002 general elections from the area, has neither visited his constituency nor met with the people of his area.

Speaking at a news conference at the press club here on Friday, the PML coordination secretary, Hyderabad taluka, Ali Nawaz Khoso; president UC Tando Fazal, Abu Bakar Lashari; general secretary Sohrab Khan Khoso and joint-secretary Ghulam Haider Khoso said that no development works have been carried out in the areas although their own party was the main ruling party in the province. They said that they were being ridiculed by people of the area.

They said that three union councils of Hyderabad taluka namely Seri, Tando Fazal and Mulan were located in PS-53 but the voters of these union councils have been totally ignored by the MPA.

They warned Mir Ali Nawaz Talpur that if he failed to address the grievances of people of his constituency they would hold a series of protest demonstrations and hunger strikes.
