Aisam, Bopanna win doubles’ tennis crown

LAHORE, July 29: Pakistan's Aisam-ul-Haq pairing with Rohan Bopanna of India won doubles’ event of the ATP tennis championship in Nottingham, UK, outplaying Anglo-Indian pair of Mustafa Ghous (India) and Joshua Goodall (Great Britain).

The score was 6-3, 7-6 (5).

This was consecutive doubles’ title for the pair after winning a competition in Manchester last week.

Aisam, however, lost singles’ final 3-6, 6-4, 6-4 to Australia's Allun Jones. The match lasted for more than two hours.
