Girls bag all positions in Multan SSC exam
FAISALABAD, Aug 1: The 2007 secondary school exam results announced by the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Faisalabad, on Wednesday showed a pass percentage of 54.87.
According to a notification, of 102,347 candidates who appeared in the exam, 56,160 turned out to be successful.
Fiza Ahmed of Government Girls High School, Toba Tek Singh, clinched the first position with 815 marks. Muhammad Saqlain of Umair Public School, Pensra and Faisal Ijaz of Nobal Vice Grammar School, Mohammadabad, shared the second position with 813 marks each and Sahir Saeed of Divisional Public School bagged the third position with 812 marks.
MULTAN: Of the 99,485 candidates appearing in the exam under the Multan BISE, 43,940 cleared it with 44.17 per cent success rate.
Girls bagged all the top positions. Ayesha Karim of the Nishat Girls High School, Multan, got the overall top position with 811 marks. Kanwal Javed and Bushra Iqbal of the same school shared second slot with 808 marks each and Iqra Fatima and Noorul Ain Ali, also of the same school, shared the third position with 806 marks.
DERA GHAZI KHAN: Students of private campuses from Muzafargarh bagged top positions in the 2007 secondary school exam results announced by the Dera Ghazi Khan BISE on Wednesday.
Of the 41,968 candidates, 19,672 cleared the exam, showing a pass percentage of
46.87, which is very low compared with last year’s 65.71.
Muhammed Khuram Shezad of Misali Zakaria Higher Secondary School, Pir Jahanian, got the overall top position with 813 marks. Faiza Iftikhar of Dawn Girls Higher Secondary School, Sanawan, got second overall position with 811 marks . Third position was won by Muhammed Zubair of Abdalian Science Higher Secondary School with 810 marks .
BAHAWALPUR: Girls clinched the top two positions under the Bahawalpur BISE.
According to the gazette notification, 28,963 candidates out of 53,655 passed the exam with a success rate of 53.98.
Rimsha Nazeer of Government Girls Model High School, Rahim Yar Khan and Rabia Sarwar of Fauji Foundation Girls School, Bahawalnagar, got overall first and second positions with 808 and 804 marks, respectively. Muhammed Zain Naseer of Tameer-i-Watan Public School, Hasilpur, stood third with 801 marks.
GUJRANWALA: Some 73,724 candidates out of 152,982 were declared successful with a pass percentage of 48.19. Zeeshan Anjum of Science Hox High School for Boys, Satellite Town, got the overall first position by getting 813 marks. Aisha Sikandar of the Quaid-i-Azam Public College and Muhammad Shoaib of Al-Noor Public Secondary School, Mandi Bahauddin, stood second and third with 811 and 810 marks, respectively.
