SWABI, Oct 1: An American company has donated 100 sets of ‘solid edge’ software to Ghulam Ishaq Khan Institute of Engineering Sciences and Technology (GIKI).

The sets were handed over to the institute at a ceremony held here on Monday. Prof Dr Javed Ahmad Chattha, the dean of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, was the chief guest on the occasion. Dr Chattha said that the cooperation between GIKI and UGS would go a long way in improving computer-aided training resources in Pakistan.
