HYDERABAD: Al Quds Day observed
HYDERABAD, Oct 5: Demons-trations and rallies were held in interior Sindh to mark Youm-ul-Quds, on Friday.
Participants raised slogans against Israel and America and burnt its flags. They vowed to continue struggle for the liberation of Baitul Maqdas.
In Hyderabad, a big rally was taken out under the banner of Shia Ulema Council which started from Haider Chowk and terminated at the press club.
It was led by Syed Moazzam Shah Naqvi, Allama Altaf Al-Hussaini, Syed Kazim Shah Naqvi, Nizamul Haideri, MMA leaders Moulana Abdul Waheed Qureshi and Moulana Taj Mohammad Nahiyoon and others.
A group of children wearing shrouds also participated. They raised slogans against Israel, America and the UK and carried portraits of Allama Syed Sajid Ali Naqvi, Imam Khumaini and Ayatullah Khamenai. They burnt the Israeli and American flags and vowed to liberate Baitul Maqdas.
They prayed for the unity of Muslim Ummah and integrity and solidarity of Pakistan.
In Nawabshah, members of Shia Ulema Council, Asgharia organisation and others arranged a rally in connection with Youm-ul-Quds which started from Murtazvi Imam Bargah and after passing from Gol Chakra, culminated at Shiraz chowk.
They said the US was supporting Israel and other anti-Muslim powers and was responsible for the killings of innocent Muslims in Kashmir, Bosnia, Palestine and other places.
They stressed upon the Muslim community to forget their difference and unite against the enemies of Islam.
In Mirpurkhas, Jafria Students Organization took out a rally from the Railway Station Chowk to mark Youm-ul-Quds. The rally was led by Moulana Abid Raza Irfani and after marching on main roads reached the Market Chowk.
In Jacobabad, a procession jointly organized by Jafria, Asgharia students organisations and different Shia organiszations was taken out to mark Youmul Quds from the Central Imam Bargah.
