HYDERABAD, Oct 17: District and sessions judge Hyderabad here on Wednesday ordered DPO Hyderabad to take departmental action against the SHO B-Section police station for keeping two teenaged boys in illegal detention.

The order was passed on an application that had sought release of two young boys, Imran Lashari and Nazar Solangi.

The boys were picked up by B-Section police Latifabad and kept at the police station when civil judge and judicial magistrate-X Asif Soomro found them without any entry in the police record.

He had asked the SHO and the boys to appear before the district and sessions judge Hyderabad on Oct 17.

SHO B-Section Ahmed Khan Solangi appeared before the judge and claimed that the boys were picked up by police as they were present with intention to commit crime.

He said that while they were being interrogated and their entries were about to be made the surprise visit was paid by the judicial magistrate.

The application which was filed by a resident of unit-4 Latifabad, Mohammad Bux Solangi, who is the father of Nazar Solangi, disposed of by the court with directives to DPO to take departmental action against the SHO B-Section police station.

Imran Lashari is friend of Nazar Solangi.

REGISTRATION OF FIR: Additional and district sessions judge-III Hyderabad here on Wednesday ordered registration of an FIR against supervising investigating officer Baldia police station, ASI Zahid Akmal, activists of PPP-SB Ali Ahmed Palepoto, Majeed Siyal, PPP Hyderabad leader Pasha Qazi and 15 policemen if a cognisable offence is made out against them by applicant, Abdul Lateef Magsi.

The order was passed on Ms SMagsi’s application as he was involved in a property (hotel) dispute with Pasha Qazi off Wadhu Wah road in Qasimabad.

He had earlier filed an application under the Section 22-A and B CrPC on Sept 3 before the district and sessions judge, seeking recovery of six of his community fellows including Muzaffar, Jamshed, Nisar and three others who were picked up by police and private respondents allegedly.
