DADU: EDO accused of holding back salaries

DADU, Oct 22: A rally was taken out by the former employees of Dadu Sugar Mills took on Monday against the EDO Finance for not releasing the salaries of 300 employees merged into different departments during last five months.

The leaders of the rally Allah Bachayo said their families could not celebrate Eid due to non-release of salaries. He said the EDO demanded commission and on refusal stopped payment of their salaries.

They appealed to the Sindh Chief Minister to take action against the EDO Finance.

CONTRACTORS: A number of government contractors working in different departments took out a rally here on Monday against the EDO Finance Dadu for not releasing their money. They were led by contractors Ghulam Shabbir Channa, Akbar Janwari Ghulam Shabbir Channa alleged the EDO was demanding 15 per cent commission against their bills.
