IBSF releases world groupings

KARACHI, Nov 5: The International Billiards and Snooker Federation (IBSF) on Monday released the groupings of World Snooker Championship scheduled to be held at

Korat (Thailand) from Nov 10 to 25.

According to groups received by Pakistan Billiards and Snooker Association, 2004 world championship runner-up, Saleh Mohammad, has been drawn in Group ‘C’ while his compatriot Imran Shehzad making his world debut is placed in Group ‘F’.A record 104 cueists from across the globe are to feature in the 16-day competition.

Tim Muflin of Norway, who won the world title last year in Amman, (Jordan), will not defend his crown.—APP
