KARACHI: KBCA bans three property projects

KARACHI, Nov 16: The Karachi Building Control Authority (KBCA) has banned advertisement and sale of properties offered in three projects, citing violation of building bylaws. People have been warned against entering into any deal with the parties concerned for property transactions in these projects.

One of the projects is Al-Mustafa Tower, Block-7, F B Area, the KBCA pointed out, recalling that on the complaint of allottees and booking holders, the provincial ombudsman had issued an order against the builders and directed the KBCA to take appropriate action against them.

The KBCA has also banned advertisement and sale of properties in another project, being built on plot number 43, Block-3, Bihar Muslim Cooperative Housing Society, and another one being raised on plot number Z-110, Block 7/8, Bangalore Cooperative Housing Society, KECHS. It has warned demolition of illegal structures would be carried out and other legal action taken against the builders of the two projects.

Meanwhile, a KBCA team demolished the roof and columns of the 4th floor of a building standing on plot number 18, LY-7. Moosa Lane, a KBCA release said.—APP
