KHAIRPUR: PML-F to win Sindh polls: leader
KHAIRPUR, Dec 2: Pakistan Muslim League (Functional) candidate for NA-216, PS-30 and 32 Pir Sadaruddin Shah Rashidi has said that party candidates will succeed in general elections throughout Sindh which will be a repetition of the party’s performance in last local bodies’ polls.
Speaking to party workers and a delegation of residents of Hadal Shah, Kingri taluka, at different gatherings on Sunday, he said that during the days of last provincial government, he endeavoured to solve the basic problems of the people of Khairpur despite opposition from the then chief minister and succeeded in doing so.
Mr Rashidi said that due to his efforts, gas was provided in many villages of Kingri taluka and other parts of the district. He added that he got approved funds of Rs5 million for each union council of the district so that the problems of the people could be solved at their doorsteps.
He said that the PML-F believed in pragmatic politics whereas Pakistan People’s Party made false claims, like its slogan of “Roti, Kapra aur Makan” (bread, clothing and shelter).
Meanwhile, PML-F candidate for PS-34 Imtiaz Shaikh has said that former Sindh chief minister Dr Arbab Ghulam Rahim has a dark political future. He was speaking at a corner meeting in Gambat on Sunday.
He said that the prediction of PML-F leader Pir Pagaro that Dr Rahim would be jailed would surely come true.
