ABBOTTABAD: Fair price shops to sell flour

ABBOTTABAD, Jan 7: The provincial food department has set up 12 fair price shops in various parts of the district in order to overcome the flour shortage and ensure its supply to people.

District Food Controller Syed Muneer Shah has said that fair price shops have been set up in Nawan Sher, Qalandarabad, Havelian, Rajoya and Abbottabad city. The shops will be monitored by the high-ups of the department.

A 20kg flour bag is available for Rs310 at the fair price shops.

Sources said that the provincial government had doubled the wheat quota for Abbottabad to ensure smooth supply of the commodity to the general public.
