JACOBABAD: Man shot dead

JACOBABAD, Jan 18: A man was killed in an armed clash between two groups of the Jakhranis in village Badu Jakhrani in the jurisdiction of Abad police station here on Friday.

Reports said that a group of armed men attacked their rivals.

Three people, Abdul Razzaq, Allah Dino and Rafiq were injured in the clash and shifted to the Civil Hospital, where Rafiq was referred to Larkana Hospital for his critical condition.

He died on his way to hospital.

No FIR was lodged till the filing of this report.

On Thursday, robbers gunned down a cotton grower and injured his son at Qaisar Shakh near here. Adam Rind, resident of Jacobabad, and his sons, Sabir and Tariq, were returning from Balochistan in a pickup after selling their crop.

Five armed robbers intercepted them at Qaisar Shakh. As they did not stop the pickup, the robbers opened fire as a result Sabir died on the spot and Tariq was injured. The Saddar police took the body to Civil Hospital Jacobabad for autopsy.
