MARDAN: Two students injured in Mardan clash

MARDAN, Jan 22: Two students of the Government Degree College, Takhtbai, received injuries when activists of different student groups clashed here on Tuesday.

It was learnt that activists of the Pakhtun Students Federation (PkSF) and the People’s Students Federation (PSF) developed some differences with Islami Jamiat Talba (IJT) activists over wall-chalking and installing posters in the college.

According to the PkSF and the PSF, students of the IJT had littered the college walls with chalking and posters of their organisation, and left no space for them.

When students of the PkSF and the PSF started removing the posters and the chalking, the IJT activists started beating them and resorted to aerial firing on the premises of the college.
