IPL seeks out Aussie curator

KOLKATA, Feb 17: The Indian Premier League has roped in veteran Australian curator Les Burdett for educating curators and groundsmen to prepare sporting cricket pitches at various IPL venues in the country.

Burdett, associated with Adelaide Oval for 35 years, would conduct a seminar in Mohali on March 11-12 on wicket preparation for the multi-million dollar league that starts from April 18. He has helped various cricketing countries in ground and wicket making.—Agencies
