NAWABSHAH: Sindh not to vote in referendum, says PPP

NAWABSHAH, April 14: The senior vice chairman of the Pakistan People’s Party, Makhdoom Amin Fahim, has predicted that the people of Sindh would not cast their vote in the referendum.

Talking to newsmen in Sakrand, he termed the presidential referendum illegal and unconstitutional.

He said that according to the 1973 Constitution, referendum could only be held on national issues and there was no provision for holding a presidential referendum in it.

He said that President Gen Pervez Musharraf could not stop PPP chairperson from returning to her country.

He said the PPP would participants in the general election.
