India claims killing militant

SRINAGAR, March 17: Indian army has claimed killing a Pakistani militant in a gunbattle in occupied Kashmir. Hafiz Nasir, the chief commander of Lashkar-i-Taiba, was killed on Sunday night near Sopore, an army spokesman told AFP. “We also lost a lieutenant-colonel and a soldier,” he said.
