AJK legislators leave for France, UK

MUZAFFARABAD, March 23: A seven-member parliamentary delegation from Azad Jammu and Kashmir including five ruling party and two opposition lawmakers and an official of the assembly secretariat will leave for France and United Kingdom on Tuesday on a week-long tour to “study the working of standing committees and hold meetings with the Kashmiri community.”

The delegation comprises Minister for works Col Raja Nasim Khan (retired), Minister for forests Syed Murtaza Ali Gillani, advisers to AJK Prime Minister Raja Munsaf Dad and Abdul Majid Khan, adviser to AJK president Raja Mohammad Siddique, Hanif Awan of Peoples Party, Chaudhry Mohammad Rasheed of Peoples Muslim League and LA secretary Sardar Azam Khan.—Staff Correspondent
