PML-Q MNA, son granted pre-arrest bail in double murder case

SUKKUR, March 25: The Sindh High Court, Sukkur circuit bench, granted pre-arrest bail to former federal minister and PML-Q MNA Ghaus Bux Khan Mahar and his son Sheharyar Khan MPA in a double murder case here on Monday.

Mr Ghaus Bux Mahar and his son elected Sheharyar Khan Mahar MPA and UC Nazim Tayyab Nadir Shah and Nadir Shah had sought pre-arrest bail from the Sindh High Court Sukkur bench after being nominated in a double murder case.

The bench comprising Justice Dr. Rana Mohammad Shamim granted them pre-arrest bail on a surety of Rs100,000 each. Mr Mahar and his son were nominated in the double murder case of Ghulam Qadir Bhayo and Qabil Bhayo who died in a clash at a polling station during February 18 elections.

One Abdul Khalique had lodged an FIR against the accused in Rustam police station on the directive of District and Session Judge Shikarpur, on March 20.
