GILGIT: FPSC question papers criticized
GILGIT, April 20: Candidates appearing in the competitive examination for Northern Areas under the aegis of the Federal Public Service Commission have slammed the authorities for the selective pattern of the question paper in Islamiat.
They told this correspondent that in the paper, four questions out of six required translation and explanation of Quranic verses and Ahadis that were randomly selected outside the reference books and there were no optional questions. They said only those candidates could solve the paper who were well versed in Arabic. They said only one analytical question was asked.
Similarly, they said the Urdu general paper comprised questions about literature.
The candidates contended that the FPSC did not prescribe any course outline or syllabus for the examinations, which led to confusion.
