4-year-old boy goes missing

HYDERABAD, April 8: Four-year-old Ahmed Raza who was a student of nursery went missing from his schools in Unit-7 of Latifabad on Tuesday and his family lodged a complaint at A-section police about his disappearance.

Ooshana, one of the three sisters of Raza, son of Sarwar Naeem, told her family that she had seen a 13-year-old girl taking away her brother after school.

She said that the girl who took her brother away was wearing the school dress of her school. She had also seen her a few days ago in the school, he said.

Another boy, Mashooq Ali Khoso, 10, has been missing from Khoso Mohalla in Thull town for past three days. His parents fear he has been kidnapped, reports our Sukkur correspondent.

Mashooq, son of Muhammad Rafiq Khoso, went missing after he had gone to a nearby shop three day ago. His father lodged a formal report at Thull police station on Tuesday.

PROTEST: Several candidates staged a demonstration outside the press club here on Tuesday after they were stopped from appearing in a pre-interview written test being held in a government high school.

They told Dawn that they were supposed to appear in the test but they got there around 10 to 15 minutes late and were not allowed to sit in the test.

They said that they reached there late because they had faced difficulty in locating the school.
