Sand volleyball tourney starts today

ISLAMABAD, April 20: The national men’s Sand Volleyball championship will be held from Monday at Pakistan Sports Complex, Jinnah Stadium.

The tournament is being organised by Pakistan Volleyball Federation (PVF), according to a press release.

Seventeen teams including Pakistan Wapda ‘A’, NWFP ‘A’, POF, Railways ‘A’, HEC, Islamabad, Police ‘A’, Punjab ‘A’, Navy ‘A’, Air Force, Police ‘B’, Wapda ‘B’, NWFP ‘B’, Punjab ‘B’, Railways ‘B’, Navy ‘B’ and AJK will contest in the three day championship.

A training camp will also be set up which will train the three top position holders for the first Asian Beach games to be held in Indonesia.
