DUBAI, April 30: The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced that Roshan Mahanama will be the match referee for the three-Test and five-match One-day International series, starting between the West Indies and Australia in the Caribbean later this month.

The series will kick-off with the first Test on May 22 at the Sabina Park, Jamaica, to be supervised by Aleem Dar of Pakistan and Russell Tiffin of Zimbabwe.

The second Test in Antigua will be umpired by England’s Mark Benson and Tiffin while the third and final Test in Barbados will have Benson and Aleem standing in the middle.

The attention will then shift to the one-dayers. All these games will be officiated by Pakistan’s Asad Rauf who will stand along with local umpires.—Agencies
